Pink Program for Peaceful Progress
At Pink Truck we develop sustainable food. We strive for a peaceful, democratic and supportive society for all where fundamental human rights are respected, a society where people work together for a freer and fairer world. At Pink Truck, we
At Pink Truck, we believe that economic interests and growth should not stand in the way of ecological and social sustainability. These ideals permeate the business and the result is – sustainable food.
We are convinced that all this is best done through a business model based on caring, respectful and responsive interaction between people, soil, animals, plants and not least other people. This also creates the conditions for nature to provide us with healthy and high quality food that we can use in our quesadillas.
We want to support those who grow and produce food in this way, and we want as many people as possible to have access to products with this extra dimension of quality that comes from these farms.
Organically certified food
With roots and knowledge base in the biodynamic & organic farming movement, it is natural for us to work with food grown according to these principles and experiences and to use organically certified food.
We do not want our food to taste unnatural but to be natural, with “real” taste, and have as high nutritional value as possible. Most of our products come from wholesalers with extensive experience in growing and producing raw materials naturally without chemical pesticides, genetically modified crops, artificial fertilizers or other unnecessary additives. Knowing what your food contains, where it comes from and who grew or processed it is part of the quality and affects the taste experience.
Sustainability thinking permeates everything we do
We see it as an important mission to contribute to the development of society towards greater ecological, social and economic sustainability. We in the pink caravan may not be able to influence development on our own, but ecological thinking is about doing our part in a larger community where others also do their part, it is only in this way that real change can come about. We therefore make every effort to ensure that our food is sustainable, contributes to the aesthetic values of the local environment and offers fair remuneration to our staff. Sustainability thinking permeates everything we do, and that’s probably why we’re so popular, because we value more than just economics.
